The Cubs extended their undefeated 2010 season to 4 games with an 8-4 with over the Cardinals on 5/23!
The Cubs played another of the league's top teams in the Cardinals and came away with an impressive 8-4 win. Counting the playoffs from last year, the Cubs have now won 11 straight and have not lost since 8/9/2009 against the Phillies.

Ken Hamm picked up the win in his first start of the season. Ken went 5 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits and 6 walks while picking up 5 Ks. John Gordon went the final 4 innings without allowing a run to pick up the save.

On defense, the Cubs continue to play amazing baseball. They did not make an error in this game.

This was a close game all the way through. The Cubs scored in 6 of the 9 innings and pulled away with 2 runs in the 8th to turn the tight 6-4 game into the 8-4 final score. John Gordon and Chris Ricker had two hits and scored two runs. Brad Adams had 2 hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs. Paul Sonnett had three hits including a double and Dennis Fontecchio had the other double for the Cubs.
