The Cubs opened up a close game by scoring 5 runs in the 4th inning on their way to a 13-3 win over the Braves in the second game of a double header sweep.

The Cubs swept the Braves 16-1 and 12-3 on 7/20.
In a huge double header for the Cubs, they came out and smoked the Braves 16-1 and 13-3 to solidify their hold on second place. The Cubs are now 3.5 games ahead of the Braves and Dodgers for second place with just 5 games left. The Cubs are now 2-0 against both teams which grants them the tie breaker edge too.

PJ O'Toole pitched game 2 and limited a hot Braves offense to just 3 runs and gave the Cubs offense time to explode late to change a close game into a blow out.

What a day for the offense! In game 2, the best games were had by PJ O'Toole who was 3-4 with a double and 2 runs scored, Earl Carpenter, 2-4 with 2 runs scored and Dennis Fontecchio who went 2-2 with a walk and 2 runs scored.
