In game 2, the Cubs were held to a single hit, a leadoff single by Dennis Fontecchio in the 5th inning. The only other two runners were Andy Luckhardt who was hit by a pitch and Eddie Murray who walked. Ken Hamm had his best outing of the season on the mound. Ken went the distance, 6 innings allowing three runs all which were unearned. Ken allowed 6 hits, striking out 6 with 1 walk.
