The Cubs beat the winless Brewers 14-1. Andy Schultz pitched 5 innings giving up just 1 run to lower his team leading ERA to 3.15. Eddie Murray led the offense with a 3-4 day and 4 RBIs. Dennis Fontecchio also went 3-4. Dennis and Tim Shaver each scored three runs. Mark Grogan reached in every at bat with a 2-2, HBP and walk. Every Cub batter scored or drove in a run!
